Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash), or your Google account identity if you sign in with Google.
• Study profile: your program, school, semester or stage, courses, and exam dates — the information your coach plans from.
• Study activity: sessions you complete, questions you answer, your accuracy, your confidence ratings, and your conversations with Ask Coach. This is what makes your coach smarter about you.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

• To plan your study sessions and improve your coach's recommendations.
• To answer your questions in Ask Coach. Your questions are processed by our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate answers; they are not used to train their models per our API agreement.
• To send you coaching emails (session reminders, weekly recaps, exam check-ins). Every email has a one-click opt-out, and opting out never affects your access.
• To process subscriptions and prevent abuse.

What we never do

• We never sell your personal information. To anyone. Ever.
• We never share your study data with your school, employer, or anyone else.
• We never use your data for advertising.

Who processes data for us

We use a small set of service providers to run Mila: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), OpenAI (AI responses), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email delivery). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or full deletion of your account and everything attached to it at any time: email simotony@milalearning.com and we will complete it within 30 days. You can opt out of coaching emails with the link in any email.

Children

Mila is intended for users 17 and older and is not directed at children.
